Our Privacy Commitment
Copy Symbols is built around a simple idea: every symbol you tap is copied to your clipboard locally, inside your browser. We never receive, log or store what you copy. The site is a static catalogue — there is no account, no upload, no analytics product following you around.
What Happens Locally
- Tapping a glyph copies it to your device clipboard through the standard browser Clipboard API. The character never leaves your machine on its way to the clipboard.
- In the font generator, your input text is transformed in your browser and shown back to you. The text is never transmitted to our servers.
- A tiny amount of localStorage is used to remember your theme (light/dark) and language preference, so the site looks the same on your next visit. This data stays on your device and can be cleared any time from your browser settings.
What We Do Not Do
- We do not record, log or store the symbols, words or characters you copy.
- We do not upload any of your input to our servers — the site is static and runs entirely in your browser.
- We do not run first-party analytics, fingerprinting or cross-site tracking pixels.
- We do not sell, rent or share personal data — we have none to share.
Third-Party Services We Rely On
Cloudflare delivers this site through its global CDN. Cloudflare keeps short-lived edge logs (IP address, user-agent, requested URL) used only for security, abuse prevention and basic traffic shaping. These logs are not used for advertising. We display ads through Google AdSense. AdSense and its partners may set cookies or use device identifiers in your browser to show non-personalised or, if you consent, personalised ads. We do not have access to those identifiers. Learn how Google collects and uses data on partner sites.
